Click! Panoramic Americas

Click! is a community art project that was developed as part of the exhibition TransAMERICAS: A sign, a situation, a concept at Museum London (Canada), from September 10, 2016 to January 22, 2017.
The public was invited to participate by submitting photos that were exhibited online and at the museum. After the end of the show, the photos will remain available online.

The call for submission was based on a very simple question: What would you like others to know about Latin America? The public was invited to share images related to that region, without any restrictions regarding country of origin or residence.
Themes included but were not limited to:

People: family, friends…
Places: cities, nature, travel…
Practices: ‘fiestas’, traditions, religion, sports…
Conflict and Diversity: politics, society…
Knowledge: arts, literature, education, science…

Images were accepted throughout the run of the show so the community piece grew over four months.
The project received contributions from a broad range of participants: Canadians in general, Canadians of Latin American descent, and also from many people who live in the region or have traveled there from other parts of the world.

TransAMERICAS was curated by Cassandra Getty and Dianne Pearce. Click! was coordinated by filmmaker Juan Andrés Bello.
